Modus ry has a successful ten-year history of building up the appreciation for sustainable arts and crafts in Pirkanmaa region. In doing so, Modus has achieved a nationally acclaimed status as a professional organization in that field.
Currently, Modus consists of seventy designers. Most of the members share similar values: high quality, ethicality, sustainability, evaluation of own work and even the idea of doing things slower.
The most important task of Modus is to develop the opportunities for its members. It collaborates with other operators in both culture and economics. Modus arranges exhibitions, sales events, seminars and design competitions. Modus communicates with other organizations and guides its members in their work. Also, Modus takes part in various events in Pirkanmaa region.
